Deputy Commissioner Dave Madden joined the NSW Police in 1978, now aged 41 years his latest appointment represents an investment in the future of the NSW Police. Dave Madden has held the previous positions:

  • Appointed Deputy Commissioner (Operations) in December 2001
  • Commander, Education Services (2000)
  • Bankstown LAC Commander (1997 – 2000)
  • Patrol Commander North Sydney
  • Patrol Commander Kogarah
  • Patrol Commander Sutherland
  • Country Special Weapons & Operations Squad, and Tactical Response Group
  • General Duties at Central, Hornsby, Gosford and Berry

 
 
Operations provides the expertise necessary to compliment a comprehensive and professional local police service.
