Dear Mr Callander

I am sorry that this reply wasn’t sent before Mr Hagan’s funeral.

I think you are correct in that one of those listings should be for the 1st clasp to Mr Hagan’s National Medal.  I will double-check this with the Honours Secretariat at Govt House in Canberra and will correct Mr Hagan’s record on our website as soon as possible.

Regards,

Webmaster

Hi guys

Going through your data on itsanhonour.gov.au

Francis Bernard HAGAN is mentioned TWICE as having received the National Medal – both entries have that Medal being granted on 2 November 1988.

Would the Second entry be a mistake and would it possibly be for the 1st Clasp to the National Medal?

Francis died on the 6 September 2016 and his funeral is coming up on the 12 September and I would like to clear the issue up before the funeral.
