JOC was the family’s taxi driver and was only too pleased to oblige.

My brother, S/Sgt John Maurice O’Connor was, to my memory, first stationed at Drummoyne. NSW I remember attending a Christmas party at the rear in Victoria Road. Perhaps followed by Balmain and Mosman and others. Wife Susan, school “sweetheart”. His son, Peter John, joined the Police Dog Squad after Graduation and is still in such position as at November 2021, ?. Daughter Jennifer b. 1985 still living. John’s wife Kirsty and two children, Angus and Ruby.

John’s death resulted from Dementia RIP

    • Thank you Denis for this update.
Do you, or the family, have any photos that you would like to share also?
Photo(s) would be much nicer to remember Joc by – rather than the Blue Rose.

        Hi Cal,

Time has gone by since contact with you. Yes I do have photos and would be glad to send one or two.
Peter, my nephew, is still a Dog Squad Officer; his wife, Susan, resides in Monterfiore Jewish Home, Hunter’s Hill.
