Detective Sergeant Steve BALLARD attested on 17 February 1973 with the New South Wales Police Force and served in various locations across the state, including Manly ( 14 Division ) in 1974.

Towards the end of his service, he served at the Goulburn Police Station ( 1989 – 1994 ) and the New South Wales Police Academy ( 1994 – 1998 )

Steve was a very popular and respected police office whose friendship and good humour will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
