Dear members, it is my sad duty to inform you all that another esteemed member of our Branch has passed away. Alex Findlay had been ill for quite some time, and passed away in hospital on Saturday, 10 March, 2018 around 9.30pm. His funeral is at Woronora Cemetery, Sutherland, South Chapel at 11am on Monday 19 March. Alex did not want a Police funeral, however, Maureen and her family would like to see members of our Branch and former workmates attend.

Alex worked traffic with my father in the 60’s. I remember going to many social occasions with Alex and his family. He had a very broad Scottish accent! Nice bloke, nice family.
