So sorry to hereof Bernies passing. We went through high school with him. We often ran into him at the shopping centres and always had a good laugh and chat. Sad news rest in peace Bernie

Bernie always had a smile for you and you always found yourself smiling when you were around him. I thank him for that. I thank him also for the love he gave and brought to my sister Alison’s life. Rest in peace Bernie. He will be greatly missed

I met Bernie when I was 12 years old. In 53 years Bernie didn’t change. Always bright and bubbly as a friend. I will remember his cheekiness and how he spoke with such love of his children. It was great to know you Bernie!
